Jingzhou Fantawild Oriental Heritage Performs Drone Light Show to Celebrate May Day

To celebratethe May Day holiday, bring tourists new visual experience, and create afestival atmosphere, Jingzhou Fantawild Oriental Heritage officially performeda drone light show at 8 pm on May 1 through careful planning and sufficientpreparations.

In this show,about 300 drones were used to fly around the Shenzhou Tower, and form patternswith distinctive Jingchu characteristics, such as “Qu Yuan”, “phoenix”, “Drumwith Bird Frame and Tiger’s Feet”, “Chu Palace with Fantawild signboard” and“auspicious clouds”, and characters like “Hello, Hubei”, “JingzhouFantawild”and “Tribute to workers”, aiming to honor all ordinary laborers andpeople in Hubei who just walked out of the shadow of the COVID-19 epidemic.

“I came hereto watch the drone show, which was very brilliant and touching,” said VisitorLiu Wangwang. “Particularly when characters like ‘Hello, Jingzhou’, ‘LoveHubei’ and ‘Love Jingzhou’ showed up, I was really moved.”

“There wereFantawild and some characters and patterns, such as ‘phoenix’, ‘Qu Yuan’ and ‘Ilove Jingzhou’, in this show, which were very beautiful,” said Visitor TuXinying.

To ensure asafe flight, the professional drone flight team has carried out careful testsand rehearsals, and developed detailed safety plans in advance. During theshow, the park conducted the safety control over all routes below the flightarea. What a light feast and dream show! The 13-minute drone light showpresented a visual feast to the audience.

“The droneshow performed many meaningful patterns, such as ‘phoenix’, which symbolizesthe Chu culture, and represents the combination of culture and technology,”said Huang Zhao, a visitor from Wuhan. “The show was very splendid, and I wasstunned by it, because I only saw it on TV in the past.”

“Afterenjoying today’s drone show, I was specially shocked,” said Visitor LiDingshan. “Particularly when characters like ‘I love Jingzhou’ and ‘I loveHubei’ emerged, I just felt very romantic. I felt romantic because I watchedthe drone show together with my best friend.”

It’s learnedthat the Jingzhou Fantawild Oriental Heritage will perform a drone light showat 8 pm each evening from May 1 to 5, aiming to salute to laborers and bringfun to the holiday. Besides, during the May Day holiday, the theme park willadjust its business hours to 9:00-21:00, lasting for up to 12 hours, strivingto allow visitors to gain better experience in park touring. There are 41 largeindoor and outdoor theme rides and more than 200 leisure landscape projects inthe Jingzhou Fantawild Oriental Heritage. In the first minor vacation since itsre-opening, the park has attracted a large of tourists.

Visitor HuangZhao said: “I played many interesting projects in Fantawild, of which a projectcalled “Flying with You” deeply impressed me. In this project, I can enjoy thegreat rivers and mountains of the motherland by plane, and experience itslandscape and culture from very close distance.”

“Today, wecame all the way from Wuhan with our kids to experience the characteristics ofJingzhou and its Jingchu culture,” said Li Huilin, a visitor from Wuhan. “Wewatched the drone show, and it really shocked me. Particularly when characters“Hello, Hubei” showed up, a sense of pride arose from my heart. I hope theepidemic prevention and control in Hubei can get better as soon as possible,and we can enjoy ourselves without wearing a mask next time.”
