On the morning of May 13, the Hubeiprovincial fishery science and technology supermarket (cloud fishery) arrivedin Jingzhou city.

Gui Jianfang, an academician of theChinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and a research fellow of the Institute ofHydrobiology, CAS, inaugurated a demonstration base of the Hubei provincialfishery science and technology supermarket at Hubei JingxiangyuanEco-agriculture Co., Ltd. Huang Guoxiong, Secretary of the Party LeadershipGroup of the Hubei Agricultural Development Center & Director, togetherwith Deng Yingjun, Vice Mayor of Jingzhou City, attended the inaugurationceremony.

At the event, dozens of experts fromthe Institute of Hydrobiology, CAS, Aquatic Science Research Institute of HubeiProvince, Wuhan Academy of Agricultural Science and other institutions answeredquestions from fishermen on the scene, and local excellent aquaculture masterscommunicated with attendees.

The Hubei provincial fishery scienceand technology supermarket (cloud fishery) platform aims to establish sci-techcloud service system across the whole industry chain of fishery industry, andoffer various services, including new fishery varieties, technologies andmodels as well as disease prevention and control through such a professionalplatform, expert teams and online and offline linkage, allowing fishermen tolearn technology and solve problems via mobile phones, thus acceleratingindustrial transformation and upgrading.
