Jingzhou will build 5 national controlled water quality automatic monitoring stations in the Yangtze River Economic Belt this year

In order toaccelerate the construction of state holding water quality automatic monitoringcapacity in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the reporter learned from theMunicipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment that this year, fivestate-controlled water quality automatic monitoring stations in the Yangtze RiverEconomic Belt will be built in Jingzhou City.

The constructionof the Yangtze River Economic Belt's automatic water quality monitoringcapacity is a major project implemented and promoted in 11 provinces and citiesin the Yangtze River Economic Belt in order to implement the developmentstrategy of "grasping the big protection and not carrying out majordevelopment". In order to ensure that the project is completed as soon aspossible, the Municipal Eco-Environmental Bureau has set up special classes toimplement it, coordinated and sought support from multiple parties, anddispatched weekly reports to strengthen supervision and management to minimizethe impact of the epidemic on the project construction schedule. At present,the construction of five state-controlled water quality automatic monitoring stationsin the Yangtze River Economic Zone in Jingzhou has been fully started. Twostations have been fully started. The other three stations have entered thebidding process and will also "speed up".

Inaddition, the reporter was informed that this year, the city will also buildeight water quality automatic monitoring stations at or above the county level,five of which have entered the acceptance process, and the other three areexpected to be fully completed by the end of June. By then, the city's waterquality automatic monitoring capability will be further "upgraded".
