In a bid to enableJingzhou Institute of Technology to be a national high-quality vocational college,the Phase I of the Jingzhou Institute of Technology construction project with atotal investment of about 400 million yuan was started in December 2017. Afterthe construction for over 2 years, 90% of the project has been completed, andan integrated test for water and electricity will be carried out soon.

The reporter onsite saw that the project is coming to an end and a full- and well-functionedmodern campus is around the corner.

The lecture hallhas three floors, with a total floor area of 27,000 square meters, of which a ground floorarea reaches 14,000 square meters, and an underground floor area reaches13,000 square meters. The hall, with grey external tiles, is equipped with a1400-seat theater, 2 meeting rooms for 200 people each, 8 meeting rooms for 100people each and auxiliary rooms. Currently, external facade glass, aluminumplates, and stone curtain walls are under construction. 95% of the constructionof the hall is completed, with 70% of the interior decoration completed.
