The newly-built Jingzhou East ServiceArea project of the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, covering an area of 300acres, will become the largest high-speed service area in Hubei Province aftercompletion. At present, the project is started for pre-construction preparationwork. It is expected to be fully completed and operational by the end of 2021.

The project is located in ChihuVillage, Guanyindang Town, Shashi District. Since the construction began on May1, multiple large machines are operating at the same time for preliminarypreparations such as land leveling and access road construction. It goes wellin a busy but orderly manner.

The Jingzhou East Service Area enjoys geographicaladvantage as it is located at the important connection of theShanghai-Chongqing Expressway and Jingzhou and also at the vital transportationline in the Jingzhou Tourist Area. The project, with a total investment of 320million yuan and a planned area of about 300 acres, will be built into a "commercialand travel complex service area" integrating various functional services inareas such as culture, commerce and travel.
