During the criticalperiod for summer planting and management of agricultural production, Jingzhougives full play to its advantages in agricultural machinery to enable the agriculturalproduction, laying a solid foundation for agricultural harvest in 2020 and thefight against poverty.
On the morningof June 10, the JingzhouPaddy Planting ByUAVs and Machines Promotion Activity 2020 was held in Mapaoquan Village,Balingshan Town, Jingzhou District. At the site, the land was cultivated byrotary tillers, with rice transplanters transplanting seedlings and unmannedplant protection machines spraying pesticide, which greatly improve the agriculturalproduction efficiency by the whole process mechanization. Jingzhou Junhong AgriculturalMachinery Service Professional Cooperative, which owns the right forusing 2300 acres of circulation rural collective land, has achieved fullcoverage of machine transplanting, with each machine transplanting 40 acres onaverage per day.
At present, thesummer harvest is basically completed, and the summer planting and managementare carried out urgently. More than 9,800 harvesters, 8,600 rice transplanters,1,200 planters, and 600 UAVs for seeding are put in use in Jingzhou. For rapeand wheat, the mechanized harvest rate reached 83% and 98% respectively, hittinga record high. Despite the great summer harvest, the summer planting andmanagement remain an arduous task.
Next, Jingzhou Municipal Agricultureand Rural Bureau will play a leading and coordinated role and do a goodjob in deployment, coordination and service guarantee of related agriculturalmachines so as to solve the contradiction between supply and demand ofmachinery and other practical difficulties in time. In this way, the farmingseason will be guaranteed. Practical technologies such aspaddy plantingby UAVs and machines shall be promoted without any effort spared. The Bureauwill also actively coordinate with highway management departments to implement thepreferential policies such as free toll for agricultural machines’ cross-regionoperations. In addition, fuel and diesel enterprises are encouraged to providepreferential services for them, such as giving priority to refuelingagricultural machinery, providing refueling discount and delivering refuelingservice to the villages and fields.
