On the morning of June 26, the Unveiling of the JingzhouTourism Transportation Hub & the Launching Ceremony of the Scenic AreaDirect Bus, organized by Jingzhou Municipal Cultural and Tourism Bureau, State-ownedAssets Supervision and Administration Commission of Jingzhou Municipal People’sGovernment and Jingzhou Xianxing Group, kicked off at the square of thePassenger Hub, Jingzhou Railway Station. The tourist transportation speciallines adopt the highway passenger transportation mode, which features fixed time,place and line. The Jingzhou Tourism Transportation Hub will function well andprovide assured transportation for tourists.
After the ceremony, the tourist transportation speciallines from the Jingzhou Tourism Transportation Hub directly to the scenic areaswere officially put into operation. The first line (59 yuan/person) is designedfor the Honghu Scenic Area, which includes Golden Bay Flower Sea, tourist portand other attractions. The village tour special line also opens, which includesPutiquan Village Tourist Spot, Mashan Town Lianshan Village, Vegetable ThemePark, Tonglinggang, Balingshan Town, Rose Garden and other attractions.
Zhao Baoguo, the Director of the Hub said: “It isexpected that the lines to Weishui River, Songzi, Jingzhou Rose Garden andother attractions will be opened in late September. Lines to scenic spots suchas Songzi Quchi River Resort will be opened in late October."
At present, the Jingzhou Tourism Transportation Hub hasbeen moved to the Passenger Hub of the Jingzhou Railway Station, which will bethe fixed starting point of the tourist lines. At the same time, Shashi Long-DistanceBus Station will serve as the stop for the lines. And the terminus will be thetourist center of each scenic area. In this way, tourist can arrive at thedestination directly and return in the same day. The lines are available everySaturday and Sunday.
