OnJuly 3, the Office of the Leading Group on Service Industry Work in Hubei putout a public notice, intending to award “Substantial Contribution to Service IndustryDevelopment in Hubei Province” to 5 prefecture-level cities including Wuhan,Jingzhou, Shiyan, Xiaogan and Huanggang, as well as 20 counties, county-levelcities and districts including Wuchang District, Huangshigang District, XilingDistrict, Xiaochang County, and Maojian District among others.

The other 15counties, county-level cities and districts to receive the said award areShashi District, Dongbao District, Enshi City, Xiaochang County, MaojianDistrict, Xian’an District, Xiangcheng District, Zengdu District, Huarong District,Xishui County, Hongshan District,Jianghan District, Qiaokou District, Zhangwan District, XialuDistrict, Dianjun District and Zaoyang.

According to thenotice, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Ezhou City, ShennongjiaForestry District, Xiangyang and Yichang, as well as Fancheng District, Yuan’anCounty, Zigui County, Xiangzhou District and Hefeng County among 20 counties,county-level cities and districts are expected to receive “Substantial Contributionto Service Industry Development in Hubei Province”.

According to theService Industry Office of Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission,Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission (the Office of the LeadingGroup on Service Industry Work in Hubei) has recently entrusted the third partyto assess the development of service industry in 17 cities (prefectures) and 98counties (county-level cities and districts) in 2019. According to the result,it intends to put out an announcement of commendation of 10 cities(prefectures) including Wuhan and 40 counties (county-level cities anddistricts). The notice is available from July 3 to10, 2020.
