On the morningof July 8, JingzhouHigh-Tech Industrial Development Zone held a ceremony to kickstart theconstruction for the second batch of key projects in 2020, while laying thefoundation stone of CAU Jingzhou Smart Yuncang City project. The eight projectslaunched simultaneously boast a total investment of around RMB 10.8 billion.
He Guangzhong, Secretaryof Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee, announced the launch of the constructionof the second batch of key projects of Jingzhou High-Tech IndustrialDevelopment Zone in 2020, which is also the CAU Jingzhou Smart Yuncang City project. DuanChanglin, Director of the Standing Committee of Jingzhou Municipal People'sCongress, Wu Chao’an, Deputy Secretary of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee,Dai Zhongjiu, President of China Vegetable Marketing Association, Hong Yu, Chairmanof CAU Holding Co., Ltd., Jiang Hong, member of Standing Committee of MunicipalParty Committee and Secretary-General of Jingzhou Municipal Party committee, LiShuibin, member of Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee and vicemayor attended the groundbreaking and foundation laying ceremony.
Dai zhongjiusaid that the launching of CAU Jingzhou Smart Yuncang City project will furtherpromote the building of the circulation system of agricultural products in Jingzhouand help improve the overall landscape of China's agricultural product market.He hoped that CAU would take the initiative to shoulder responsibilities,accelerate project implementation, and deliver the final results as soon aspossible.
Hong Yu saidthat, adhering to the principle of "emphasizing safety, quality andefficiency", CAU will actively advance the project implementation andbuild it into an intelligent international trading platform for agriculturalproducts and a high-quality global cold chain trade center based in Jingzhou,serving Jianghan Plain, radiating across the whole country and facing the wholeworld.
CAU JingzhouSmart Yuncang City project is expected to attract an investment of RMB 8billion, covering a total area of about 1,525 mu. With five-phase developmentand construction, the project has witnessed a successful bid for the land forthe first-phase construction. CAU has innovatively built a digitalized industrialand ecological model featuring “cloud, warehousing and distribution”. With thesaid model at its core, the project is expected to build a modern andintelligent trading center featuring cold chain, logistics and warehousing foragricultural products, combining trade deal, agricultural e-commerce, coldchain storage, logistics distribution, deep processing, large central kitchen,commercial exhibition and comprehensive living facilities.
On the same day,construction began on the following projects: a center for agricultural entrepreneurship,agricultural materials and machinery wholesale market in Central China, Hubei Kangmenghealth industrial park (phase II), Jingzhou Jinxin aquatic productswholesale market, Jingzhou Zhongchu environmental protection sci-techindustrial park, Jingzhou Zhonglian (films and television) international plaza,Jingchu seed industry sci-tech industrial park.
