By the beginning of August, Jingzhou gave out a total of RMB 64.51 million in employment stabilization subsidies to 2,712 enterprises for stabilization of 151,000 jobs.

According to WanPeng, Deputy Director General of Jingzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, to hedge against the impact of the outbreak in this year,Jingzhou’s human resources and social security departments’ have introduced aseries of measures to benefit people and enterprises based on real difficulties in people’s employment and enterprises’ recruitment, actively implemented lump-sum employment subsidies for enterprises, social security subsidies for recruitment of people with difficulties in finding a job, refund of unemployment insurance for employment stabilization and other policies, and accomplished the change from “policy-oriented enterprises” to “enterprise-oriented policies”.Meanwhile, service windows of human resources and social security departments have simplified declaration process, 100% of employment stabilization refund will be directly given to enterprises with less than 500 insured employees, and only 1 application needs to be submitted for enterprises with 500 insured employees and above. The a foresaid approaches both effectively reduced enterprises’costs, and eased employers’ employment pressure.

In addition,Jingzhou’s human resources and social security departments also gave out RMB6.072 million in employment subsidies to 77 manufacturers of badly needed epidemic prevention and control materials, provided RMB 24.405 million in lump-sum employment and entrepreneurship subsidies to 22,100 graduates ofregular institutions of higher education throughout the municipality, offered RMB 37.56 million in special rewards and subsidies for structural adjustment to 415 key enterprises, and stabilized and increased 54,300 jobs. According to LiuLihong, CFO of Jingzhou Leke Food Co., Ltd., human resources and social security departments have helped the company with application and enjoyment of employment stabilization policies successively since March this year, which effectively reduced the enterprise’s operating pressure.
