On the morning of August 28, a inspection team headed by Xiang Bin, member of the Standing Committee ofthe CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government, supervised the construction and progress of Jingzhou-Jingmen high-speed railway, visited Jingzhou Railway Station North Station planning site, land acquistion and relocation site of Baling Mountain interworking house, as well as Guangdeng Zhong cemetery site and other places.

Xiang Bin pointed out that, Jingzhou-Jingmen high-speed railway is one of the key projects of post-epidemic rejuvenation in Hubei province, and also the Hubei’s first high-speed railway project newly kicked off this year. Jingzhou section is qualified for commencent considering the fully preparation at early stage. Relevant departments should cooperate to advance the project, with a high sense of political responsibility according to the time line and requirements. We must carefully setting up the plan of constructing the railway stations and supporting facilities in advance. It is necessary to create the favourable conditions by making a comprehensive arrangement, delimiting the scope and formulating standards for requisition and relocation, and make archaeology inspection around the planning route of railwayin advance, therefore project construction and the protection of cultural relics could be enhanced at the same time. Chen Bin, Vice Chairman of JingzhouMunicipal CPPCC and the Secretary-General of Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government attended the inspection.

It is understood that the design line of Jingzhou-Jingmen Intercity Railway Project is 77.6 kilometers long, with a total investment of 13 billion yuan. The whole line is double line 350 km / hhigh speed railway with a construction period of 3 and a half years.
