Government subsidies! Jingzhou vigorously launches actions for improving vocational skills

Yesterday, the Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security and the Municipal Finance Bureau jointly issued a circular on clarifying matters related to the actions for improving vocational skills. During the implementation of actions for improving vocational skills, all types of qualified vocational training programs are subsidized with the special account funds of actions for improving vocational skills.

In Jingzhou, the training programs of actions for improving vocational skills improvement action consist of training programs for enterprise staff, training programs for improving employable skills, entrepreneurship training programs, and special vocational training programs included in the scope of actions for improving vocational skills as required. The training programs for enterprise staff mainly involve pre-jobtraining, on-the-job training, job skills training, new apprenticeship training, new technician training, job transfer training, work-based training,training on vocational skill competition, etc.

Among them, the work-based training refers to the training for newly recruited and transferred employees inenterprises that participate in and promote the normal production and pandemic prevention and control. Such enterprises are granted training subsidies at RMB100 per person per day, up to 30 days. According to the requirements, training subsidies are granted to the following enterprises at the standard of RMB 500 per person per month, up to 6 months: micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that employ individuals having difficulty in finding jobs, members of zero-employment families, college and university graduates that have graduated for less than two years, and individuals registered as unemployed, and carryout work-based training since January 1, 2018; micro, small and medium-sized enterprises affected by the pandemic outbreak that have production and operation difficulties leading to the suspension of work and business, and organize the work-based training and training to stabilize the posts; enterprises of various types engaged in foreign trade, accommodation, catering, culture, tourism,transportation, wholesale and retail, etc. that are heavily affected by the pandemic outbreak, and carry out work-based training. The subsidies forwork-based training can only be available once per person per year, the application for which shall be submitted by December 31, 2020.

Each worker participating in vocational training, in principle, is entitled to not more than 3 training subsidies per year. Training subsidies cannot be reapplied in respect of the same occupation and the same level, and subsidies for enterprise staff training cannot be reapplied in respect of the same occupation, the same level and the same program.
