At 16:08 on September 26, the Cessna C560 inspection aircraft landed smoothly after completing the inspection items for instrument landing system. At this point, the one-week flight inspection at Jingzhou Shashi Airport has been successfully completed, which shows that all facilities and equipment of Jingzhou Shashi Airport meet the civil aviation standards and it is ready for operation.

On September 18, Cessna C560, the first "airvisitor" at Jingzhou Shashi Airport, took off from here to start the flight inspection. Six crew members from the Flight Inspection Center of CAAC,have completed 27 hours of inspection flight, proving that all facilities and equipment of Jingzhou Shashi Airport inspected, such as airport pavements,communication and navigation equipment, airfield lighting system, pavement signs and markings, meet the civil aviation standards, and the approach and departure flight procedures comply with the overall design requirements.

Wei Xipeng, the captain of the Cessna C560 inspection aircraft and Wei Xipeng, the pilot of the Flight Inspection Center of CAAC, have confirmed that Jingzhou Shashi Airport is well-equipped,with favorable clearance conditions.

It is understood that after the flight inspection, the Flight Inspection Center of CAAC will issue a flight inspection report to lay the foundation for the following test flight. Airliners ofairlines are usually selected for the test flight to verify whether various support equipment, instrument equipment, and runways of the airport meet the flight requirements of civil aircraft.
