The National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday in 2020 is the first long holiday under the normalized pandemic prevention and control conditions. Jingzhou has strictly implemented the requirements on tourist limits, reservation and off-peak opening of tourist attractions. As a result, the tourist market has been warming up in an orderly manner with smooth traffic at tourist attractions, no abnormality has everexisted in the pandemic prevention and control and no safety accidents has ever occurred. According to statistics from the Municipal Bureau of Culture andTourism, Jingzhou has received a total of 2,277,200 visits, achieving comprehensive tourism revenues of RMB 1.678 billion during the eight-day holiday.
On the evening of October 1st, the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival were celebrated. To express the blessings to our motherland, hundreds of drones rose into the sky over the Jingzhou Fantawild Oriental Heritage, flying around the "Shenzhou Tower" and displaying exciting words and patterns, such as "71", a map of China,the Five-Starred Red Flag, the Tian'anmen, "1949--2020", "LoveYou Motherland" and "Happy Birthday".
The drone light show and the Shenzhou fireworks show have formed a brilliant performance, appearing concurrently in Jingzhou Fantawild for the first time. Gorgeous fireworks and cool light and shadow have met in a wonderful way, making a performance with half romance and half brightness. The spectacular views in the sky and words in the painting have expressed best wishes to the motherland and the yearning for a better tomorrow.
From October 1st to 8th at 8:30 everynight, Jingzhou Fantawild was launching drones and lighting fireworks to make a dreamy combination, singing the praise of China and enhancing joyful atmosphere for the holiday. In addition, during the National Day holiday, JingzhouFantawild has been open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for 12 hours, aiming to bring tourists a better experience in the park.

Moreover, a Hallfor Experiencing Ming Dynasty Clothing, a Multimedia Experience Hall, and a Hall for Exhibiting Tutorial Pictures for the Emperor of Zhang Juzheng havebeen newly opened.
In order to further enhance the interactive experiences of tourists and enrich the visit in the scenery area,the light show of Jingzhou Ancient City has been performed as usual during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, with one performance each at 19:30 and 20:30 every day. For the first time, the scenery spot King Chu's Mausolem has launched a public archaeological experience activity, leading tourists to uncover the mystery of thousand-year history and culture. A photography contest themed with "The First Anniversary of Garden Expo Parkand Me" has been held by the Jingzhou Garden Expo Park... Rich culturaland tourism activities have attracted a large number of tourists to Jingzhou.According to statistics, during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festivalholiday in 2020, the city has received a total of 2,277,200 visits and achieved comprehensive tourism revenues of RMB 1.678 billion, respectively returning to81% and 75% of the same period last year. Among them, the 10 tourist attractions with free entry included in the reservation platform for Huiyou Hubei have received 206,800 visits,about 16% of which are from outside the province, and about 62% of which are from outside the city; the key scenic spot Jingzhou Fantawild Oriental Heritagehas received a total of 89,200 visits with comprehensive revenues of RMB 39.36million. Jingzhou Ancient City Historical and Cultural Tourism Zone hasreceived 134,200 visits with comprehensive revenues of RMB 9.39 million. Songzi Weishui Tourism Resort has received 25,000 visits with comprehensive revenuesof RMB 2.1 million. There all show that tourist attractions have recovered significantly. Affected by the rainy weather, rural tourism visitors has been decreased. According to the monitoring data of the counties and urban district,there are about 1.56 million visits in self-driving and rural tour, stimulating consumption of about 1 billion.
During the holiday, visitors could enjoy the atrical performances organized by the Local Opera Inheritance Institute and the Mass Art Center of Jingzhou in scenic spots such as the Jingzhou Ancient City Tourist Zone, the Garden Expo Park, and the King Chu'sMausolem. At the performance site, the wonderful songs and dances with Hubei cultural characteristics have attracted a large number of tourists and citizensto stop by.
During the National Day and Mid-AutumnFestival holiday, Jingzhou's "Double Advancing & Double Promoting" activities (i.e. advancing cultural tourism volunteer servicesin tourist attractions, advancing cultural activities in tourist attractions,promoting cultural communication, and promoting service improvement) have been developed to strengthen the cultural connotation of tourist attractions, reveal the charm of Hubei culture, improve the quality of tourism services, andpromote the integrated development of culture and tourism. Various activitieshave been carried out in tourist attractions in the city. The Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Cultural Evening of Jingzhou City has been successfully held in the garden of Guan Yu. The Weishui Camping Music Festival has been held in the car camp ground square of the scenic spot Songzi Weishui,2020 Jingzhou First Fendai Flower Sea Tourism Festival has been held in the Fendai Garden of the Hongqi Forest Farm in Jingzhou District, and a bonfire party and "Flying Squirrel Entertainment" recreational activities have beenheld in the Tonglinggang Vegetable Theme Park. During the holiday, there are 21cultural activities conducted in the city, including 10 shows in the scenicspots by the professional art organizations and 11 cultural activities in the scenic spots for the benefit of the people. More than 600 volunteers have devoted a total of 260 service hours in various A-level scenic spots, serving nearly 7,000 tourists.
