On the morning of October 14th, the group of experts on The World Bank Loan of Restoration and Protection Project of Jingzhou Ancient City, Hubei visited Jingzhou, and carried on the project inspection. The experts listened to the briefings by Jingzhou City World Bank Loan Project Office, and made the guidelines.

In orderto better protect the cultural heritage of the ancient city of Jingzhou,improve the surrounding water body, water quality and ecological environment,as well as the traffic environment in the ancient city, approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance,Jingzhou build the Restoration and Protection Project of the Ancient Jingzhou City with World Bank loan, the total estimated investment reaches 1.048 billion yuan, including World Bank loan of 100 million US dollars, and it will completed by December 31th, 2020. The World Bank expert group,Hubei Provincial Finance Department,Jingzhou Municipal Government and Jingzhou Municipal World Bank Project Office,Jingzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission attended the meeting and listened to the progress of the project on the spot.

At present ,16 projects including the Soil City embankment protection and repair project, the Kaiyuan Temp environment renovation project, the dredging project of the moat and the lake in the ancient city have been completed, and 9 projects, such as the comprehensive renovation project of the treasure house in Jingzhou Museum and the comprehensive dispatching center of the intelligent scenic spot, are under construction.

Jingzhou City World Bank Loan Project Office briefed about the implementation and progress of newly added project in the meeting, and the World Bank experts put forward the suggestions.

The expert group will inspect each item in the following days.
