70 years ago, the Chinese People's Volunteers Army crossed the Yalu River to defend the country against U.S. aggression. 197,653 Chinese People's Volunteers soldiers lost their lives in the war. The 70th Anniversary Conference of Chinese People's Volunteers Army Fighting against U.S. Aggression and Aiding Korea took place on October 23. All walks of life in Jingzhou watched the conference which received strong response.

In the morning, officers and soldiers of the Shashi Squadron, Second Law Enforcement Brigade, Jingzhou Armed Police Detachment watched the conference live at the video conference room, to deepen their understanding of the historical decision made by the Party and government to defend the country against U.S. aggression and aid Korea 70 years ago. We should remember the history, cherish peace, be vigilant in peace time, sharpen skills, promote the great spirit of fighting against U.S. aggression and aiding Korea, and work against time, in an all-out effort to open a new page for building a strong army in the new era, they said.
