The 1st Meeting of the Leading Group on Construction of China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone (HBFTZ) Jingzhou Collaboration Area tookplace on the afternoon of October 26. The approval of the master plan by theHubei Provincial People's Government shows the attention and support of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and the Hubei Provincial People's Government, said Li Shuibin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and the Party Leadership Group of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government. We should treasure the opportunity, give full play to the function of the "gold brand", recognize our deficiencies and weaknesses, and strive to achieve a breakthrough in the construction of Jingzhou's external exchange platforms based on collaboration area construction.

Li stressed that we should plan at a high starting point,advance related work in accordance with high standards, learn advanced cities' experience in free trade collaboration area construction, act promptly, aim at difficulties and problems arising in respective fields, and solve them in line with advanced experience and models; should strengthen institutional innovation, focus on "path finding, demonstration and breakout", and release reforming dividends; and should persistently promote the development of Jingzhou's opening-up.
