The Sanya-Jingzhou Food Fair took place at Jingzhou Garden Expo Park on the morning of November 20, presenting over 80 renowned specialties and characteristic food brands from Sanya and Jingzhou.

The Sanya pavilion put on display a variety of products, including Hainan's characteristic fruits like coconut and mango, nutritious passion fruit, delicious coconut candy and sweet coconut milk. These authentic Sanya delicacies show the features of Hainan's coconut-based food culture and attract flocks of visitors.

To deliver the fair successfully, the Sanya Municipal Bureau of Commerce organized a dozen characteristic food enterprises in Hainan for the fair, bringing Sanya's characteristic fresh fruits, seafood, honey, nourish cool, noni enzyme, Shanlan wine, colorful rice dumpling and Mr.lu Chocolate, to make more Jingzhou citizens experience unique Sanya flavor and build a bridge of direct sales between Sanya and Jingzhou.

Jingzhou invited over 60 enterprises to the fair, bringing local characteristic food such as Jingzhou fish cake, Honghu lotus root juice, Jianli pastries and Gong'an beef. At the booth of Juzhenyuan, a Chinese time-honored brand, a chef steamed fish cakes with the most authentic ingredients and skills to give visitors a taste of Jingzhou delicacies.

The fair is important part of "Coconut Charm, Chu Verve" Cultural Exchange Event. With "thanksgiving" and "salute" as the penetrating points, "Coconut Charm, Sea Verve" and "Jingzhou Charm, Chu Verve" as the theme, in various forms of exchange such as ethnic cultural performances of Jingzhou and Hainan, the mutual promotion of agricultural product and tourism, the fair promoted the great spirit of fighting the epidemic, expressed gratitude to the medical team from Hainan, and deepened the cultural, economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Jingzhou and Sanya.
