CAU Jingzhou Agricultural Industry Co., Ltd. (CAU Jingzhou), a subsidiary of CAU Holdings Co., Ltd., was founded in Jingzhou in 2018. Phase I of CAU Jingzhou Smart Yuncang City is in progress. After the completion of Phase I, it will create a whole industry chain circulation system through online-offline integration to accelerate the selling of Jingzhou's agricultural products to the whole country.
On the construction site of Phase I, several tower cranes and excavators were working in full swing. The ground leveling of Phase I is basically complete and foundation piling is under way. According to the current progress, buildings with a total floor area of about 60,000 square meters are scheduled to be completed next January.
With a total investment of 8 billion yuan and a total area of over 1,500 mu, CAU Jingzhou Smart Yuncang City is a key provincial project of Hubei. Phase I covering an area of about 200 mu is under construction. At the beginning of the project negotiation, the Investment Promotion Center of Jingzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone (JHIDZ) established a work leading group and assigned specialists for the investment promotion of the project. Jingzhou's rich agricultural resources, superior location and convenient transportation have established its strategic role in nationwide agricultural product circulation, making it a non-negligible strategic hub for CAU to build a network. Since the Covid-19 outbreak this year, the dull sales of agricultural products have posed a great challenge to offline sales. CAU Jingzhou moved into action, leveraged its resource advantage to build znlwhb.com, an agricultural product e-commerce platform integrating the functions of trading and logistics, and served the production and sales of Jingzhou's agricultural products amid epidemic prevention and control. In the meantime, the company opened a zone for consumption-based poverty alleviation to broaden sales channels and improve the marketing of products for consumption-based poverty alleviation. To date over 100 local and surrounding agricultural enterprises, including Xiaohu-Duck Food, HWY Food and Sanhu Yellow Peach, have moved into the e-commerce platform of znlwhb.com, and launched nearly 1,000 types of agricultural products and deep-processed products on the platform.
At the next stage, JHIDZ will continue to provide all-round services for the project, solve problems arising in project construction, advance major projects on a case-by-case basis and serve projects while introducing projects.
