Jingzhou Shashi Airport registered 56 flight departures and arrivals, and handled over 5,500 inbound and outbound passengers from February 11 to 17, with an average passenger load factor of over 85 percent.

The airport operated normally during the Spring Festival. While creating a convenient channel for inbound and outbound passengers, the terminal provides special services to elderly persons, children and disabled persons to ensure the travel safety, efficiency and convenience of passengers. Over 5,500 passengers were handled via the 5 air routes leading to Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Haikou and Sanya. The number of passengers peaked at 165 (Flight DZ6281 on February 11) and 166 at (Flight HU6174 on February 13).

The airport registers 8 flight arrivals and departures per day. During the festival, the airport further optimized the coordination mechanism. The airport, the air traffic authority and the airlines worked out plans according to the fog warning and informed passengers of the severe weather in advance. To date the airport has not canceled any flight, and the punctuality rate of inbound and outbound flights has reached over 65 percent.

Besides, the airport has strictly implemented the requirements of epidemic control, requiring passengers to show their health codes when entering the terminal. Only those who have green codes, normal temperatures and masks on may enter.
