Recently, He Guangzhong, Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, led a delegation to Hangzhou for survey of the high-performance paper-based new material circular economy project setting down in Shishou. Shishou Municipal People’s Government and Xianhe Co.,ltd reached common consensus and officially signed cooperation aggrement on 10-billion-yuan project of high-performance paper-based new material circular economy after in depth exchange.

Before the signing ceremony, the delegation visited major products by Xianhe Co.,ltd and carried out exchanging symposium. Both sides aggred that the succsessful settling down of the project highly correspond to the municipal strategy of buliding a " 100 billion-level industry of papermaking packaging and new building materials" and "paper city in central China", which is also in line with Jingzhou's leading industry development plan in "fourteenth five-year period". 

Both sides should accelerate the project construction and build it into a model and elite project, further expand cooperation in scope and scale to achieve win-win and common development at a higher level, municipal related departments and Shishou city must go all out to support the project relating to the details of settling down,He streesed on the conference.

Zhang Yuanmei, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government and First Secretary of the Party Work Committee of Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone (JETDZ),Wang Minwen, President of Xianhe Group Holdings, and Wang Minliang, President and General Manager of Xianhe Co.ltd attended the event.

It is understood that Xianhe Co.,ltd is a strong,influential and leading enterprise specilized in manufacturing of major high-performance (special paper) in China. Prior to this, the two parties have conducted visits many times. On January 8, Shishou Municipal People;s Government and Xianhe discussed on specific investment matters and signed a framework agreement on project investment. The project will proceed in 3 phases, with investment of 2.2 billion yuan in Phase I, 1.8 billion yuan in Phase II and 6 billion yuan in Phase III respectively. After the project put into production, the predicted annual output will be 2.5 million ton of high-performace base paper materials, including 600,000 tons per year in Phase I, 600,000 tons per year in Phase II, and 1.3 million tons per year in Phase III.
