On the morning of April 13, the launch ceremony of the new channel of Midea's shipping port in Jingzhou took place at the Yanka area of Jingzhou Port. Li Gan, Vice Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government, attended the ceremony and announced that the port went into operation.

The new channel will provide "customized logistics" service for the shipping of Midea refrigerators from Jingzhou to Wuhan and Shanghai, and open up a new prospect for river-sea combined transport. Jingzhou will continue to promote the new practice of "customized logistics", improve "manufacturing-logistics integration", "two-way logistics" and the new mechanism of regional logistics development, enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of logistics service for investors in Jingzhou and improve Jingzhou's advantage in investment promotion.

Li noted that Jingzhou is superior in logistics and stands out by industries. Jingzhou will integrate itself into the national 1-2-3 travel circle (one hour to commute in cities, two hours to travel within city clusters, and three hours to travel between key domestic cities) and the global 1-2-3 logistics circle (one day to deliver within China, two days to deliver to neighboring countries, and three days to deliver to key global cities), create projects qualified to be included in "the fourth list of national multimodal transport demonstration projects) and a "Chinese express delivery demonstration city", apply for building Jingzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, develop logistics brands such as "river-sea combined transport", "rail-water combined transport", "through water transport" and "riverside pickup", and focus on cultivating the comprehensive cost advantage of supply chain logistics, to ensure good timeliness, low cost, fast customs clearance, quality service and good effects of logistics.
