On the morning of May 7, the ground breaking ceremony of Asia Union New Materials (Hubei) Electronic Chemical Industry Park took place at Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone (JETDZ). Zhang Yuanmei, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government and First Secretary of the Party Work Committee of JETDZ, announced the commencement of the project, and laid the cornerstone along with Sun Jiandong, General Manager of Asia Union New Materials (Hubei) Co., Ltd. 

Now Jingzhou is implementing the action of "improving capacity through technical renovation and changing core by manufacturing", and vigorously fostering strategic emerging industries. Departments in JETDZ will provide early project support, strive for top construction quality, speed and benefit, and ensure that the project is completed, goes into production and reach its design capacity as early as possible.

"Jingzhou enjoys convenient transportation, superior location and favorable business environment," Sun said. "It took only three months from agreement signing to pile foundation construction. We will complete construction with high quality to promote the economic development and industrial upgrading of Jingzhou."

Asia Union New Materials (Hubei) Electronic Chemical Industry Park has a total investment of 800 million yuan. The main works are expected to be completed this October, go into trial production in April 2022 and turn out 492,000 tons of high-purity electronic chemicals after reaching its designed capacity.
