Millenarian Ancient City, Dynamic Jingzhou. Why did Jingzhou's tourism boom during the "May Day" holiday? Jingzhou's tourism continued to grow after the boom, how did Jingzhou realize the high-quality development of the culture & tourism industry?

Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area has changed the tourism territories of Jingzhou and Hubei by major culture & tourism projects like Fantawild Oriental Heritage and Garden Expo Park, leading Jingzhou all the way to the north and attracting flocks of tourists from Hubei and other provinces. The area has become the "main front" of Jingzhou's culture & tourism industry. At the next stage, the area will further step up the construction of the culture & tourism industry chain, culture & tourism projects and infrastructure, to create a culture & tourism industry cluster.

The CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government have attached great importance to culture & tourism development in recent years. Jingzhou's tourism is experiencing strong growth as a number of key culture projects have settled in Jingzhou. Phoenix, the cultural icon of Jingzhou, is known for a saying that goes, "This bird, once it flies, will soar high into the sky; once it cries, it will startle the world with a single cry". It could not be more appropriate to describe Jingzhou's tourism with this saying.

This year Jingzhou will accelerate the formation of a new tourism pattern to improve the quality and benefit of culture & tourism. The pattern will center on the Chu culture demonstration zone of Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area and the historical & cultural tourism zone of Jingzhou Ancient City, be supported by eco-tours of Honghu and Songzi, feature tours of revolutionary sites in Qujiawan and Zhoulaozui, and be connected by Long Rural Gallery in Jingzhou District, Taohua Mountain in Shishou and other rural attractions.

This year Jingzhou will organize the activity of visiting revolutionary sites and inheriting red gene based on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party and Party history study and education; will integrate rural rejuvenation with rural tourism to push forward all-for-one tourism; and will implement the "Long Prosperity" Culture & Tourism Program, to realize the full coverage of cultural, tourism and sports events, provide quality culture & tourism products, maintain the momentum of Jingzhou's tourism and promote the high-quality development of Jingzhou's culture & tourism industry.
