On May 18, Zhou Zhihong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government, visited China Co-Op Group (CCG) for a negotiation on deepening cooperation and accelerating relevant projects. She held a meeting with Hou Shunli, Deputy Director of the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives (ACFSMC), Chairman and Party Secretary of CCG.

Zhou introduced Jingzhou's general situation, superior location and industrial development, expressing gratitude to ACFSMC and CCG for their long-term support and attention to Jingzhou's development. CCG has 12 primary subsidiaries which cover the whole industry chain of modern agriculture, she said, adding that there is huge potential for the all-round cooperation between CCG and Jingzhou in building a strong agricultural city and promoting rural rejuvenation.

Zhou stressed that all areas in Jingzhou should attach great importance to deepening cooperation with CCG and seize the opportunity to advance rural rejuvenation; should straighten out the advancement mechanism, establish work leading group, strengthen communication and coordination, and press ahead with relevant projects based on the reached consensus; should strengthen work implementation, work out a task list, and address bottlenecks and difficulties of CCG's projects.

The two sides also conducted an in-depth negotiation on all-round cooperation in projects such as farmer service center building, smart cold chain logistics, the deep processing of agricultural products, supply-marketing finance, rural e-commerce and the recycling of renewable resources.

Vice Mayor Deng Yingjun and Secretary General Yang Yunchun of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government participated in relevant activities.
