At the Jingzhou base of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, Wang inquired about the enterprise's technology innovation and production operation, spoke highly of its automated and fine management, and required that relevant departments should strengthen the overall planning of Hubei's aerospace industry and service guidance to the industry so as to create an industry chain with a scale of 100 billion yuan. "Coal chemical is a capital & technology-intensive industry, the longer the industry chain is, the higher the added value is." After hearing an introduction to the Jingzhou project of Hualu-Hengsheng, he asked the enterprise to further optimize its product structure, improve technology contents of products, strictly implement the requirements of environmental protection and hold fast to the bottom line of safe production. At Hubei Feilihua Quartz Glass Co., Ltd., he inspected the fiber and optical fiber production lines, encouraging the enterprise to increase technology investment to turn out more special, fine and competitive products.

After hearing an introduction to Jingzhou's economic and social development and urban planning and construction, Wang noted that Jingzhou boasts profound historical and cultural heritage, a solid industrial foundation, superior location and huge development potential. We should improve development levels, pursue development as the top priority, seek progress while maintaining stability, continue to improve the economic scale and city level, and keep enhancing the radiating and leading role. We should vigorously develop the county economy, improve assessment and incentive measures, strengthen the transfer of responsibilities and pressure, urge counties, cities and districts to make advances, work hard, enhance the hard strength of the county economy and consolidate the important foundation for the coordinated development of all areas in Jingzhou. We should make all-out efforts to develop the real economy, continue to expand leading industries such as intelligent home appliance and equipment manufacturing, energy, papermaking & packaging and new building materials, foster strategic emerging industries green chemical, biomedicine and new materials, and improve the level of agricultural industrialization, so as to a build a solid foundation for high-quality development. We should focus on projects, strengthen the planning and storage of projects and advance project service, intensify investment promotion, support enterprises in technology renovation and upgrading, ensure funds, land use, energy use and environmental capacity, push for the early implementation, completion and full-capacity operation of projects, and yield high returns on heavy investment.
