A red song is filled with music, and a section of party history is narrated. On the afternoon of May 29, "A Folk Song for the Party"-Activity of Learning the Party History through Music and Characteristic Music Class on Party Education took place in Jingzhou was held in the auditorium of Yangtze University. Present were: Liu Huiping, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of CPC Shashi District Committee, Zhu Yehong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Yangtze University, Yang Shunhao, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Congress, Sun Yuqiu, Vice Mayor of Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government, Chen Bin, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Jingzhou Municipal Committee

, Publicity Department of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and Yangtze University, and undertaken by Hubei Provincial Cultural Activity Planning Center and Jingzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism. Music class on party education kicked off in the folk music ensemble "Celebration Overture", and a series of classic songs such as "A Folk Song for the Party", "Red Plum Praise", "I Love You China", "Flowers are Red" and other classics were performed one by one. A variety of musical instruments are intertwined, presenting red memory from different historical periods to party members and cadres in a way of "sounding into people's hearts", and majority of party members and cadres can study party history through beautiful artistic experience.

It is learnt that this music party class aims to combine the major historical events and important nodes of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party, to organically combine music art with party classes through classic red music works, reproduce the party’s struggle history, praise the party’s brilliant achievements, adapt artistic methods to inspire party members to remain true to our original aspiration and keep the mission firmly in mind, strengthen the determination and confidence of party members and cadres to follow the party, and gather a strong spiritual force for the development of Jingzhou.
