June 1st marks International Children's Day, the municipal leaders including He Guangzhong, Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee,Zhou Zhihong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and the Mayor of Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government, Duan Changlin, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Congress, Wang Shouwei, Chairman of the CPPCC Jingzhou Municipal Committee visited the primary schools, kindergartens, and Jingzhou Children’s Welfare Institute, extended cordial holiday greetings to the children, encouraged that they should study hard, make progress every day, and strived to be socialist builders and successors.

During the visit, the children from the Siji School, Henglong Campus of Shashi Experimental Primary School, Shashi District Hongyuan Primary School, Jingzhou Children’s Welfare Institute, and Jingzhou Government Agency Kindergarten etc, wear bright red scarves for the city leaders and neatly extended with Chinese Young Pioneers Salute.

He and other municipal leaders watched performances, inquired about the teaching situation, checked the learning and living environment, and presented books and stationery gifts.

He said that children are future of the nation, and are vital force for our party and country realizing the second centenary goal。As the old saying goes “The new overthrow the old”，I hope everyone will study hard and make progress every day, comprehensively development in moral, intellengence, sports, aesthetics and labour education, and inspire to be socialist builders and successors.

He stressed that department at all levels should attach great importance to teenager education, implement the normalized epidemic prevention and control on campus and prevent myopia, build elementary schools and kindergartens in a rational layout according to urban development, and comprehensively improve the level and environment of teaching in Jingzhou.

Guo Jingyun, the Consultant of Jingzhou Research Association for Yan’an Spirit and Leader of Jingzhou Red Scarf Leture Tour Group, introduced the campus publicity  work of Yan’an spirit at Jingzhou Siji School. Municipal leaders Zhang Yuanmei, Li Shuibin, Liu Huiping, Yang Shunhao, Sun Yuqiu attended the event.
