No new case of COVID-19 was found in Hubei on May 31. Yesterday saw no new suspected case or death. One patient was discharged from the hospital (an inbound passenger on Flight CZ350 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Guangzhou on April 30).

No asymptomatic case was found in Hubei on May 31. No asymptomatic case developed to the confirmed one. No patient had been discharged from quarantine. Five asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine (four were inbound passengers on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhanon April 26, May 11, 18 and 25; one was an inbound passenger on Flight CZ8182 from Nairobi, Kenya to Shenzhen on April 17). 447 close contacts were under medical quarantine(threewere close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight CZ8140 on May 11; 27 were close contacts of the confirmed patient on Flight CZ350 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Guangzhou on April 30; 38 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the FlightCZ8182 from Nairobi, Kenya to Shenzhen on April 17; 186 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight CZ8140 on May 18; 191 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight CZ8140 on May 25; two wereclose contacts ofthe confirmed and asymptomatic patients outside of Hubei province in the country).

There is oneconfirmed case (aninbound passengeron Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on April26) and no suspected case. As of 24:00, May 31, a total of 63,646 patients were cured and discharged from the hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,159 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Hubei province.
