No new case of COVID-19 was found in Hubei on June 2. Yesterday saw no new suspected case, discharged case or death.

One asymptomatic case was found in Hubei on June 2 (aninbound passenger on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on June 1). No asymptomatic case developed to the confirmed one. No patient had been discharged from quarantine. Six asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine (four were inbound passengers on Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhanon April 26, May 11, 18 and 25 and June 1; one was an inbound passenger on Flight CZ8182 from Nairobi, Kenya to Shenzhen on April 17). 418close contacts were under medical quarantine(threewere close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight CZ8140 on May 11; six were close contacts of the confirmed patient on Flight CZ350 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Guangzhou on April 30; 26 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the FlightCZ8182 from Nairobi, Kenya to Shenzhen on April 17; 191 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight CZ8140 on May 25; 190 were close contacts of the asymptomatic patient on the Flight CZ8140 on June 1; two wereclose contacts ofthe confirmed and asymptomatic patients outside of Hubei province in the country).

There is oneconfirmed case (aninbound passengeron Flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan to Wuhan on April26) and no suspected case. As of 24:00, June 2, a total of 63,646 patients were cured and discharged from the hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,159 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 had been reported in Hubei province.
