On the afternoon of June 9, the Municipal Mobilization & Training Meeting on Tour Steering for Party History Study and Education was held, to implement the requirements of the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee for Party history study and education, study and arrange Jingzhou's work of tour steering for Party history study and education. Liu Huiping, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Liu noted that the tour steering is a weighty task with heavy responsibility and a tight schedule. All steering groups should have clear work priorities, find right goals of action, and ensure the quality and effects of the tour steering; should guide localities and departments in developing new forms of theoretical study, integrating theories with Jingzhou's work practices, livening up ways to study and achieving practical study results; should take on political responsibility, and keep improving the quality and level of the tour steering with strong capabilities, scientific methods and practical style; should go down to the grass-roots level to find out facts, and eliminate the practice of formalities for formalities' sake and bureaucracy; should face up to challenges, seriously point out work inefficiency and incompetence, and urge individuals and departments involved to make correction, so as to ensure work quality and effect.

The CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee will send 11 tour steering groups to supervise and guide counties (cities, districts), functional areas, entities directly under the municipal committee and government, as well as universities and state-owned enterprises in Jingzhou.
