On June 21, the Final of the Jingzhou Red Story Telling Competition Marking the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC, hosted by the Jingzhou Municipal Leading Group on Party History Study and Education, as well as the Organization Department and Publicity Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, took place at Jingzhou Media Group, with the theme "Studying the Party's History, Telling Red Stories". Present were Tang Tongxin, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Organization Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee; Liu Hui, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government; Liu Huiping, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee; and Hu Jinglin, Vice Chairwoman of the CPPCC Jingzhou Municipal Committee.

Qin Feng'er, the most beautiful revolutionary mother in Taohuashan; Liu Zhixun, a revolutionary pioneer; Chen Xiangbo loyal to the Party; Xiong Chuanzao, an early Party member in Honghu illuminating the revolutionary road ahead; Li Yexiu, a revolutionary heroine in Songzi; Peng Xianglin, a revolutionary martyr in Shashi; Huang Jie, a revolutionary heroine in Jiangling leading Jiulinggang Peasant Uprising; Sun Lianghong, a heroic company commander protecting certificates of martyrs; Huang Guopan and his son Huang Xiongfei devoted to the construction of a steel pipe plant successively, Jingzhou's medical team rushing to the aid of Jinyintan Hospital…in the competition, touching red stories and heroic figures were presented in forms such as speech and stage play one after another, arousing bursts of applause.

The competition kicked off in April. After preliminaries, 10 entries from counties, cities and districts, entities directly under the municipal government and committee, and industrial systems qualified for the final. Expedition: Jingzhou's Medical Team Supports Jinyintan Hospital in Fighting the Epidemic from the Jingzhou Municipal Health Commission and Jingzhou Central Hospital won the first prize in the final.
