For the purpose of extending and strengthening industry chain, as well as expanding manufacturing industry, Hubei Midea Refrigerator Co.,ltd and Jingzhou Vocational College of Technology jointly build Midea Industry College to invest and build experimental laboratory integrating industry with education, foster oriented talents specializing in smart refrigerator manufacturing, comprehensively advance talents cultivation mode with integration of industry & education,science &education, and provide qualified talents for building 100-billion-level home appliance industry

On the morning of June 18, the signing and unveiling ceremony of Midea Industry College was held in Jingzhou Vocational College of Technology, Zhang Yuanmei, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government and First Secretary of the Party Work Committee of Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone attended the event.

The establishment of Midea Industry College marks the new pattern of college-enterprise cooperation and fostering oriented talents on smart refrigerator manufacturing in Jingzhou.

Hubei Midea Refrigerator Co.,ltd is a leading enterprise in home appliance industry of Jingzhou, and the development of leading enterprise boost the agglomerative development intelligent home appliance industry.Technology innvoation relies on the support of talents, the cooperation between Hubei Midea Refrigerator Co.,ltd and Jingzhou Vocational College of Technology would comprehensively advance talents cultivation mode with integration of industry & education,science &education, build a mutually benefial innovative talents cultivation platform intergrating manufacture, study, research and innovation.

Hubei Midea will invest education equipment step by step according to the number of directional trained students, invest and build Midea refrigeration training laboratory and the robot training laboratory, set up special courses on molding, refrigeration technology, production management, and quality management. Midea will also arrange manufacture team and R&D engineer team as professional course lecturers, to develop professional courses,and set up Midea Scholarships for Students.

It is learnt that the joint program of Midea Industry College plans to enroll new students in September 2021. The "dual subject" modern apprenticeship system will be implemented, means the students are both corporate employees and school students. After joining in the Midea Oriented Training Class, freshmen will sign an employment service agreement with Midea.
