On the morning of June 26, the groundbreaking ceremony of the beam casting yard in Segment 3 of Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway constructed by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group Co., Ltd. took place at Tengdian Village, Chuandian Town, Jingzhou District, marking the start of the construction of the Jingzhou section of Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway.

With a full length of 77.6 kilometers, the project of Jingmen-Jingzhou Railway is divided into four segments. The segment breaking ground today is Segment 3. With a main length of 19.45 kilometers and a construction period of three years and a half, Segment 3 starts from Shilipu Town, Jingmen City and ends in Balingshan Town, Jingzhou District, Jingzhou City.

Since the first group of construction workers moved in for early preparation on June 1, two batching plants and the beam casting yard have broken ground.

As the top priority of railway construction, the construction speed of the rail box beam casting yard determined the progress of railway projects. In the early land requisition and housing demolition for the beam casting yard, Jingzhou District and its towns and townships made all-out efforts to ensure the smoothness of the work.

Since its entry, the construction party has promptly integrated manpower and materials resources, worked against the clock, and advanced follow-up work efficiently with the goal of "delivering a provincial sample rail project through comprehensive control and fine management".
