"Always Following the Party--Jingzhou Recital Marking the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC", hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, the Work Committee for Offices Directly under the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, the Jingzhou Federation of Trade Unions, the Jingzhou Education Bureau and the Jingzhou Chronicle Research Center, organized by Jingzhou Media Group, took place on the morning of June 28. Present were Liu Hui, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government; Liu Aihua, Vice Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Congress; Huang Tingsong, Vice Mayor of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government and Director General of the Jingzhou Public Security Bureau; and Hu Jinglin, Vice Chairwoman of the CPPCC Jingzhou Municipal Committee.

In the forms of poetry recitation, scene play and chorus, the recital, composed of four chapters-"Daybreak, Hardships, Brilliance, Rejuvenation", demonstrated the great history in which the Chinese people of all ethnic groups overcame all hardships and difficulties, stood up and became prosperous and strong under the Party's leadership. The recital opened with Four Poems by Chairman Mao presented by municipal leaders.

Xiao Dezhun, former Commander of the Second Launch Company of the Second Surface-to-Air Missile Battalion of the PLA who was the first to shoot down a U.S. U2 spy plane with a surface-to-air missile; representatives of Party members and officials that have long stuck to the frontline of poverty alleviation, as well as representatives of medical staff holding their positions in wards in the fight against COVID-19 were invited to attend the event.
