On the morning of July 2, the working conference on textile & apparel industry chain and the second meeting of the 10th investment promotion sub-team were held, introducing the development status of the textile and garment industry in Jingzhou,as well as discussing the work plan of chain growth.

Liu Huiping, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, required to set up the development plan of leading enterprises following “one enterprise, one policy”.We should persevere in attracting investment based on existing advantageous enterprises, and deploy investment projects according to basic functions.Industrial chain specialized units including Jingzhou Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning, Jingzhou Muncipal Finance Bureau, Jingzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce, Jingzhou Branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, and other units must take targeted measures serve investment projects. We should commiteed to improving the textile & garment industry chain, and expanding the industrial scale through advancing investment attraction and internal cultivation.

As of 2020, there are a total of 134 textile and garment enterprises in Jingzhou, with an output value of 13.25 billion yuan.The total output value of the textile and garment industry in Jingzhou is expected to reach 50 billion yuan by 2025 according to the plan.(Reporter Chen Xiaowu)
