On the afternoon of July 2, Jingzhou and Hubei Branch of China Development Bank (HBCDB) signed Memorandum on Strategic Cooperation, aiming support Jingzhou’s "14th Five-Year Plan" high-quality development in finicial. Li Shaomin, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of HBCDB, He Guangzhong, Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, witnessed the signing ceremony. Zhou Zhihong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of Jingzhou Municipa; People’s Government, presided over the signing ceremony.
He expressed his gratitude to HBCDB, for its long-term supporting regarding the economic and social development of Jingzhou. He said that as an non-commerical bank, CDB has played an important role in finicial support regaring advancing the local economic development of Jingzhou. Under the current development background both at home and abroad, Jingzhou could go far when marching towards the second centenary goal only by leading the leapfrog development, broadening its own horizons, and opening up diversified methods.
He addressed that Jingzhou is striving to building central city on the plains of Dongting Lake and Jianghan Plain along the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, building "five demonstration zones", giving full play to t radiating and leading role of Jingzhou, improving efficiency, continuously strengthening urban construction, industrial construction, transportation construction, and creating a new "engine" for Jingzhou’s development,which urgently need stable funds and finicial elements for guarantee, hopefully HBCDB will continue to support the development of Jingzhou, further assist in advancing rural revitalization, ecological environment management and the protection of the Yangtze River,as well as real economy development, so as to enhance mutual understanding and strive to create a new chapter for cooperation.
Li Shaomin said CDB has been committed to serving the national strategy and local economic& social development since its establishment,with the mission of improving people's livelihood and enhancing overall national strength. Owing to the dynamic development momentum of Jingzhou, and the great attention and recognition given by Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee and Jingzhou Municipal Government, HBCDB maintained a close cooperation with Jingzhou in recent years. This year marks the beginning of the "14th Five-Year Plan", HBCDB will further deepen cooperation centered on the hotspots and difficulties countered in the development of Jingzhou, improve the cooperation mechanism and expand the cooperation space. In the 14th Five-Year Plan period, we will make greater contributions to the high-quality economic and social development.
Xu Haitao, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of HBCDB, signed memorandum with Zhang Yuanmei, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government and First Secretary of the Party Work Committee of Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone. Prior to the signing ceremony, Deputy Mayor Huang Zhen introduced the cooperation between Jingzhou and HBCDB during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.
