On the afternoon of July 6, Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government holds Conference on Mobilizing Auto Parts Industrial Chain. Zhang Yuanmei, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Government and First Secretary of the Party Work Committee of Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone (JETDZ) chaired the meeting and addressed the speech.

Zhang noted that we should focus on attracting new energy vehicles and special-purpose vehicles, transfering and upgrading of the existing traditional auto parts industry; form a "four-wheel drive" development pattern in JETDZ, Gong’an, Shishou and Honghu, further the industry. Improve the supply chain and extend to the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain; Tackle the shortage of skilled talents, promote the coordinated development of enterprises, actively organize activities such as innovation competitions, promote the high-quality development of the industrial chain, and make unremitting efforts to realize Jingzhou's "Vehicle Dream".

Chen Bin, the Head of Auto Parts Industrial Chain and Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Jingzhou Municipal Committee attended the meeting. Heads from industrial chain related departments, key development counties and districts, and key enterprises respectively report on the investment invitation and development status of auto parts industry.
