Jingzhou’s industrial tax revenue reaches 4.452 billion yuan in the first half of this year

According to a source released by Jingzhou Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Jingzhou maintained a steady growth in terms of industrial production since the beginning of this year. From January to June 2021, industrial enterprises reported a tax revenue of 4.452 billion yuan, 31.8 percentage points higher than average tax growth of Jingzhou, and completed VAT of 2.147 billion yuan, ranking second in the province in terms of VAT growth. Some enterprises such as Hubei Midea, Baiyunbian, Halfsky Pharmacy made prominent contributions to the tax increase.

Driven by favorable factors of improved production and efficiency, from January to June, Jingzhou’s tax revenue for computer industry, chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, auto parts industry, power industry, special equipment industry, and building industry increased by 446.8%, 237.7%, 124.5%, 195.6 %, 52.2%, 118.1%, 177% repectively.

In the first half of the year, 5 enterprises completed tax payment exceeding 100 million yuan, and 28 enterprises paid tax over 10 million yuan. From January to June, Halfsky Pharmaceuticals saw a roaring sales and completed a tax payment of 980 million yuan, by continous innovation, actively conducting R&D and production of "antioxidant removal" and anti-tumor drugs. The high-end series of microcrystalline refrigerators launched by Hubei Midea gained popularity that sales and output value have been grown significantly, and Midea taxed 205 million yuan in the first half. Driven by increase both in sales outside the province and inner share in the province, Baiyunbian paied tax of 758 million yuan in the first half,accounting the total tax payment of last year.
