Jingzhou holds work promotion conference on advancing development of cultural tourism industry and inheritance of Jing-chu Great Site

On September 2, Liu Huiping, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, chaired work promotion conference on advancing development of cultural tourism industry and inheritance of Jing-chu Great Site (Jingzhou area). We should set up the special task group mechanism to implement inspection per month, making cultural tourism industry as important driver for Jingzhou’s high quality development based on the request of Provincial Secretary Ying Yong, he addressed.

Liu noted that, we should strictly implement the municipal requirement, clarify the main task and phased tasks,and complete the task item by item. The great site protection group strives to complete the following three tasks: Incorporate Jingzhou into "14th Five-Year Plan" of the Central and Provincial levels, specify the protection and evacuation plan of the ancient Jingzhou city, and speed up the construction of existing projects regarding the protection of the ancient city; aim to complete three major tasks relating the development of cultural and tourism industry; intensify investment promotion of cultural and tourism in a unified manner, and earnestly optimize administrative services for landing projects.

The two special task groups must make top-level design with high starting point and high level, construct projects with high standards, and embody high-quality culture, he noted.

The present leaders were Sun Yuqiu, Vice Mayor of Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government, Peng Xianrong,Vice Chairman of CPPCC Jingzhou Municipal and Secretary of Party Work Committee of Ji'nan Eco-Culture & Tourism Area.
