The Mid-Autumn Festival is the best time for a reunion in China. "Bright Moon over Hometown "--2021 Jingzhou Mid-Autumn Reunion took place on September 21. By video link, overseas societies and Jingzhou-born entrepreneurs in other places were invited to express their nostalgia and celebrate the festival, thereby pooling tremendous strength to accelerate regional center city building.

Present were Wu Jin, Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee; Duan Changlin, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jingzhou Municipal People's Congress; Wang Shouwei, Chairman of the CPPCC Jingzhou Municipal Committee; as well as municipal leaders, including Jiang Hong, Li Shuibin and Liu Huiping.

Li Shuibin, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, extended the greetings of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Today's Jingzhou is carrying out the campaign of seminars on "breaking rigid mindsets to seek breakthroughs in development", making great efforts to build an open and innovative highland, and accelerating the building of a regional center city, he said. He sincerely invited Jingzhou's entrepreneurs in other places and overseas Chinese to return for sightseeing, surveys, origin tracing and investment.

By video link, the attendees and members of the Jingzhou-aiding medical teams in Guangdong and Hainan exchanged wishes to share the joy of the festival. Jingzhou Blue Sky Rescue Team told stories of disaster rescue in a heavy rainstorm hitting Henan in July in an interview; a dozen Jingzhou-born entrepreneurs in other places including Zhou Quanqing, and overseas societies like the Friendship Association of Jingzhou Chamber of Commerce in Canada were invited to voice their nostalgia, offer advice on Jingzhou accelerating regional center city building, record short videos and send wishes.

Made up of three chapters: "Rising Moon • Friendship", "Full Moon • Together" and "Bright Moon • Sky", in forms such as art performance, aerial shooting and video link, the event conveyed nostalgia and promoted friendship.

Among the attendees were heads of relevant departments directly under the municipal government and committee, representatives of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas compatriots, as well as representatives of the private sector.
