After nearly six months of construction, the relocation project of Jingzhou's radio & television transmission tower has been topped out, entering the stage of curtain wall installation, lighting and equipment installation. The entire project is expected to be completed in late December 2021. After its completion, the tower will be a new landmark of Jingzhou integrating the functions of radio & television signal transmission with city landscaping.

On the construction site of Jingzhou's radio & television transmission tower, the reporter saw a delicate and imposing 200-meter-high steel-structured tower emerging from the ground.

The project consists of a transmission tower and accessory occupancies. The accessory occupancies are being decorated. After the main steel structure of the tower was topped out, curtain wall installation and lighting will be the next-stage focus.

The project is a key livelihood project in Jingzhou's public cultural service system building, as well as Jingzhou's highest building in existence. After its completion, the tower will not only meet the high requirements of downtown Jingzhou for radio & television digitalization, networking and intelligentization, and optimize the transmission quality and coverage effects of radio & television signals, but also become a new landmark of Jingzhou next to State Highway 318.
