On September 17, the CYL Hubei Provincial Committee held 2021 Hubei Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition Award Ceremony & Yichang-Jingzhou-Jingmen-Enshi City Cluster Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Symposium in Yichang, presenting awards to 18 projects. At the symposium, the CYL organizations of Yichang, Jingzhou, Jingmen and Enshi jointly established the Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Alliance of Yichang-Jingzhou-Jingmen-Enshi City Cluster, which will be committed to deepening the agglomerative effect of youth innovation & entrepreneurship.
The young representatives shared their stories of entrepreneurship.
Shishou is a large breeding city that has bred more than 10 million heads of poultry. Farmers used to dump poultry manure into ponds for fish and pearl culture, which caused serious water pollution. This, combined with air pollution caused by straw burning, greatly affected environment. With the concept of eco-agriculture, Hubei Zongyao Eco-agriculture Group has collected poultry manure and straws to produce organic fertilizer, thereby creating a circular industry chain from rice growing, processing and sales to husk recycling and fertilizer production. According to Chairman Lu Xiaguang, the company has signed agreements with towns and townships. Under the agreements, cooperative farmers can use the company's products for free and do not need to pay for fertilizer until they get good harvest and increase output, which can reduce farmers' seasonal production input and increase farmers' annual income by over 10 million yuan.
Qin Longping, General Manager of Yichang Mengguoguo E-Commerce Co., Ltd., is from the countryside. After graduating from the university, he determined to take root in Yichang to introduce his hometown's quality agricultural products to the rest of the country. The company settled in Yuan'an in 2016 for overall e-commerce operation and has driven more than 4,000 people to start business or get employed over the past five years. As live streaming is prosperous, Qin and his team launched a rural influencer training program in Yichang, which has trained 4,000 rural young influencers for free in the form of live streaming.
The road of entrepreneurship was rough for Yu Weiwei, General Manager of Jingmen Tanmeng Technology Co., Ltd. His startup was positioned as Jingmen's first sci-tech education training agency for teenagers at first. Without a mature model for reference, he has designed courses himself and developed a new product per week. To date the company has independently developed more than 300 sets of scientific experimental equipment and obtained 57 patents. During entrepreneurship, he regularly participated in public science popularization activities, visited over 100 primary and secondary schools, villages and communities to instruct kids in discovering the mystery of science, and donated over 20,000 pieces of experimental equipment to Jingzhou's teenagers.

In the event, Zhou Senfeng, Secretary of the CYL Hubei Provincial Committee, said the CYL Hubei Provincial Committee is implementing the requirements of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and the Hubei Provincial People's Government for endeavoring to create a rainforest-type innovation & entrepreneurship ecosystem, establish and improve a youth culture system featuring an integral youth chain, a strong atmosphere of youth and new startups for new business, and strive to serve youth innovation & entrepreneurship wholeheartedly.
