On September 26, Gao Ruifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Commissioner of Wuhan Customs, visited Jingzhou for investigation. Wu Jin, Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee met with Gao Ruifeng and his delegation, and the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on promoting the development of Jingzhou's export-oriented economy.
Wu extended warm welcome to the delegation led by Gao, expressing thanks to Wuhan Customs for the long-term concern and supporting on Jingzhou’s export-oriented economic development. Jingzhou is ushering great opportunity of building national processing trade park, and the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government’s strategy support of building Jingzhou as an important growth pole for high-quality development of Hubei. Now the whole city is emancipating mind, accelerating regional center city building. A strong export-oriented economy is of vital importance to the building of regional center city building, it is hoped that Wuhan Customs be committed to support Jingzhou’s opening up, the declaration and construction of Jingzhou Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, obtaining qualifications and licenses at designated ports for the import of food, meat, and fruit, the policy support of and cross-border e-commerce, trade functions improvement and other aspects. We hope that Wuhan Customs can strengthen the construction of customs clearance, actively explore reforms and innovations to promote the high-quality development of Jingzhou's export-oriented economy.
Gao expressed thanks to Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for its support to Wuhan Customs and Jingzhou Customs. Currently, Wuhan Customs is targeting on “Strengthen Supervision, Optimize Service, Strive Top One, Build First Class”, to actively integrate into the local economic development. Wuhan Customs will promote the construction Jingzhou Comprehensive Trade Zone with greater effort at faster pace, further enhance the function of the port and foreign trade, fully serve Jingzhou's investment promotion and foreign trade, and contribute to Jingzhou's acceleration of the construction of a regional central city.
Gao and the delegation also conducted field investigations in Wuhan Customs Technology Center (Jingzhou) Dangerous Packaging Laboratory, Hubei Feilihua Quartz Glass Co., Ltd. and Dongyue Community, Lixin Street, Shashi District, the contact point for comprehensive management.
