The reporter learned from Jingzhou Airport Construction Management Co., Ltd. that Jingzhou Shashi Airport will add 5 routes and 7 destination cities, namely Kunming, Jinan, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Wenzhou, Lanzhou, and Zhuhai. The maximum number of flights at Jingzhou Shashi Airport will be adjusted from 96 flights per week to 196 flights per week according to the flight adjustment plan of the civil aviation system.

Since the opening of Jingzhou Shashi Airport on January 30 this year, 8 routes have been opened to 10 destination cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and all operations goes smoothly. Up to now, the passenger throughput of Jingzhou Shashi Airport has exceeded 300,000 passengers, with a total of 2,895 take-off and landing flights. Among them, the passenger load factor from January to July is 66.91%, and the annual passenger throughput target has been completed ahead of schedule.
