Hubei's total import & export value in first 10 months exceeds that last year, Jingzhou's total reaches 10.86 billion yuan

According to statistics released by Wuhan Customs on November 11, Hubei registered a total import & export value of 433.43 billion yuan in the first 10 months of 2021, up 27.6 percent year on year and up 37.9 percent from the same period of 2019, including an export value of 277.18 billion yuan, up 32.9 percent year on year and up 42.1 percent from the same period of 2019; an import value of 156.25 billion yuan, up 19.1 percent year on year and up 31.1 percent from the same period of 2019.

Hubei's total import & export value in the first 10 months of 2021 exceeded the annual value of 430.52 billion yuan registered in 2020, according to a head of Wuhan Customs. Hubei's monthly import & export value has grown for 19 months in a row since April 2020. Hubei reported an import & export value of 318.03 billion yuan from general trade in the first 10 months of 2021, up 19.5 percent year on year, accounting for 73.4 percent of Hubei's total, including an export value of 208.52 billon yuan, up 28 percent year on year and an import value of 109.51 billion yuan, up 6.2 percent year on year. Hubei recorded an import & export value of 54.55 billion yuan from processing trade in the same period, up 26.9 percent year on year, accounting for 12.6 percent of Hubei's total. Besides, Hubei posted an import & export value of 39.4 billion yuan from bonded logistics in the same period, up 110.4 percent year on year, accounting for 9.1 percent of Hubei's total.

Hubei's private enterprises secured its lead in foreign trade in the first 10 months of 2021, with a total import & export value of 255.97 billion yuan, up 32.8 percent year on year, accounting for 59.1 percent of Hubei's total, including an export value of 194.83 billon yuan, up 34.2 percent year on year and an import value of 61.14 billion yuan, up 28.8 percent year on year. In the same period, state-owned enterprises registered an import & export value of 95.34 billion yuan, up 24.5 percent year on year, accounting for 22 percent of Hubei's total; foreign-invested enterprises registered an import & export value of 81.39 billion yuan, up 16.2 percent year on year, accounting for 18.8 percent of Hubei's total.

Wuhan registered a total import & export value of 272.72 billion yuan in the first 10 months, up 28.9 percent year on year, accounting for 62.9 percent of Hubei's total, including an export value of 151.34 billion yuan, up 41.8 percent year on year; and an import value of 121.38 billion yuan, up 20.8 percent year on year. Yichang, Huangshi, Xiangyang, Jingzhou, Jingmen and Xiaogan registered a total import & export value of 27.06 billion yuan, 26.28 billion yuan, 23.46 billion yuan, 10.86 billion yuan, 10.36 billion yuan and 10.11 billion yuan respectively. The total import & export value of the 7 cities accounted for 87.9 percent of Hubei's total.
