The self-service area of the Jingzhou Municipal Government Service Center went into operation on December 1, making government services available all day.

The center has two self-service areas: one is in the hall that is open during working hours; and the other is a 24-hour self-service area on the right of the entrance where there is a self-service machine. The first 76 services launched include housing fund deposits query, nurse practice registration (initial/continuing), practice place change of registered physicians and other services offered by departments directly under the municipal committee and government like Jingzhou Municipal Health Commission, Jingzhou City Management Law Enforcement Commission and Jingzhou Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

According to a head of the center, the center has designated three staff members to instruct enterprises or individuals in using the self-service machine. "To use the self-service machine, we need only to swipe our identity cards or log in with our accounts registered at zwfw.hubei.gov.cn," he said.

Next the center will further improve the functions of the self-service area, launch more frequently-requested services and carry out the practice of "doing practical things for the people", to constantly enhance enterprises' and individuals' sense of gain and satisfaction.
