December 4, 2021 marks the eighth National Constitution Day, this week is also China's fourth "Constitution Publicity Week", and Jingzhou conducted various forms of law publicity activities.
On the morning of December 3, Jingzhou District carried out law publicity activities in New South Gate Yuhe Square and New North Gate Tianwen Square. On-site staff of various units explained and publicized relevant legal knowledge to the citizens. The taxation department distributed to the citizens on site a handbook of constitutional knowledge, a series of promotional materials on taxation services for economic and social development to strengthen citizens' awareness of the rule of law. Meanwhile, in order to mobilize the enthusiasm of the public to participate the event, the on-site staff also made interaction through the form of prize quiz.
During the activity, more than 10,000 copies of promotional materials have been distributed and 300 legal advice been consulted by Jingzhou District.
On the morning of December 4, the legal volunteer team of Mahaokou Town, Gong’an County, went into the community to carry out legal consultation and publicity activities, distributing free brochures on the Constitution and the Civil Code to community residents and students, and popularizing general knowledge of laws that are closely related to the life of community residents.
During the "Constitution Publicity Week", Jianli city organized a series of activities such as the examination of the law in advance for cadres to be appointed by the Jianli County People's Congress, the constitutional oath for newly promoted cadres, and the constitutional publicity on the party members' activity day in December. Various departments in Honghu city carried out activities such as promote the law in the campus, enterprise, countryside, community, departments, etc. Through various forms of law promotion activities, to raise the legal consciousness of the whole population, so that more grassroots people learn the law, know the law, understand the law and abide by the law.
