On December 24, during visiting Jingzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone (JETDZ) and attending its leader & official meeting, Wu Jin, Secretary of the CPC Jingzhou Municipal Committee, stressed that we should assume the heavy responsibility of promoting industrial rejuvenation and rise, implement work such as Party building guidance, investment promotion and project construction, and endeavor to promote the high-quality development of JETDZ.

Wu visited enterprises like Hubei Shendian Automotive Motor Co., Ltd. and Hubei Reborn Biotech Co., Ltd. to inquire about their needs, address their problems and seek development. He ordered heads of the enterprises to increase innovation investment, enhance core competitiveness, and accelerate the extension and strengthening of industrial chains, thereby providing solid industrial support for the high-quality development of JETDZ.

Then Wu hosted a meeting and listened to work reports. He stressed that JETDZ plays a leading, core and key role in the rejuvenation and rise of Jingzhou. We should make great efforts on industrial development and investment promotion, establish the concept of "industry first", give top priority to investment promotion, measure work performance by investment promotion outcomes, the number of projects and industrial levels, build industrial parks with an output value of more than 100 billion yuan each and consolidate the economic foundation. We should make great efforts on the eastward development of urban areas and industry-city integration, further make up functional deficiencies, and promote the integration of production, life and ecology. We should make great efforts on reform and innovation, transformation and upgrading, integrally, accurately and comprehensively apply the new development philosophy, align ourselves with world top cities, learn experience and practices from other places, promote institutional innovation, further delegate powers, arouse vitality, emancipate mind and improve work style, and develop JETDZ into a reserve pool for talents and a fast track for official growth.
