With two golden brands: National Industry Accommodation Demonstration Zone and National Processing Trade Industry Park, Jingzhou has initially formed pillar industries like intelligent home appliances, automotive parts, modern papermaking and deep processing of agricultural products.

In the future, Jingzhou will persist in innovation-driven development, seize the opportunity from the development of the digital economy, intensify new infrastructure construction, and advance the full coverage of 5G and digital industrialization, so as to build a new base for the electronic information and digital industry; will advance industrial digitalization, implement the "digital empowerment" project, vigorously develop industrial Internet, and construct some lighthouse factories, unmanned factories and smart workshops, thereby accelerating the building of a national demonstrative area for industrial digitalization and upgrading.

Over the past five years, the zone has been among the top 50 of China's 219 national economic & technological development zones.
